The crying...

But your constant push 

Caused the painful break

Like melting ice my once solid love......

Is turning into hate

Though we have often mended our differences...

Those seams always seem to come unraveled

And we end up tangled in the undone pieces

Causing the  fragile heart to be shaken

But this time....it's gone a little to far....

The crying can't be tamed......the rip cannot be repaired 

Walk away...allow whats left to remain

Regret ignites with the flame of resentment   

Causing the roar of crying to be unbearable 

Even to me....

Now is my Showtime

Going Live

Happy face on as I pretend

Playing the part 

Consisting of smiles and giggles 

Nothing close to what I'm actually feel inside

I take it in Stride

And continue to play my role

But when the lights go out

The true story unfolds

Tears and smudged makeup

Once I cross the threshold

Blow ups and backups caused

From business demands

However the Show must go on

Prepare your face for your fans

All that hurt and pain you gotta erase

Replace it with your style and Grace

The more steps I take,

You deepen your stride,

Your running from me

When I'm just trying to be by your side,

Growing weary,eyes getting teary,

When you speed through our dealings,

Never had feelings so strong......

So I continue to walk on

Abiding in God,

Hoping and praying 

You'll eventually realize 

All I want....is to be by your side....
